I have also held leadership positions with international business and trade companies around the world. Additional career experience in technology companies, law enforcement, environmental science, and even the military. I am also a published author, as well as an Opinion and Op-Ed writer for several media sources across the U.S. Having experience and being an expert are important things to acquire within any position, but failing to diversify yourself beyond your current position silos you mentally, and prevents developmental growth personally and for the company of which you serve or own.
